Hi, I’m Lucy
I am so excited to be running as your Greens candidate for Laverton

I am a Vietnamese Australian Greens councillor and community advocate who is committed to community-led change that centres human rights, climate and housing justice in every decision. I bring deep local knowledge and lived experience to my advocacy.
Growing up in public housing and renting through most of my twenties shaped my experiences to always put community, wellbeing and fairness ahead of profit.
I have found a true home in Brimbank in a welcoming, diverse and resilient community and I am so proud to serve and contribute to our community currently as Councillor for Kororoit Creek Ward.
I want to be a representative for Laverton that provides a safe space and a platform where our diverse multicultural community can gather and feel empowered to engage in politics and raise their voices as we fight for a fairer future.

The Greens track record
In the balance of power in parliament the Greens have secured:
$60 million to protect nature and get homes and businesses off gas
Renting reforms including banning no grounds evictions and rental bidding
5000 more empty homes available by making the tax on empty homes stronger
$150 million for bike lanes and pedestrian safety
Proudly supported the first Treaty in Australia
Stopped the renewal of the MoU with Israeli Ministry of Defence
Imagine what we could do with more power after the next election.
